About Us

Almost two million Christians in about 1300 parishes belong to the evangelische Landeskirche in Württemberg. It is the sixth largest of the 20 member churches of the Evangelische Kirche in Deutschland (EKD). The church leadership is located in the Evangelischem Oberkirchenrat in Stuttgart. In addition to the parishes, many other institutions, such as deaconry stations, kindergartens & educational institutions belong to the protestant state church.
